Abigail loves this toy! It vibrates and plays music and in case you're wondering it's a cross between a cow and a pig (yeah.) It was Audrey's toy but she never played with it too much. When she's laying down she tries to chew on its nose :)

10.26.11: Bazinga! {68/366}
Making connections with each other is a priority in my classroom. I love when my kids socialize! They are building such important life skills. I try to connect with my kids as well, it makes teaching so much more personal and fun. One of my boys wore this awesome shirt to school and BAM! We have a Sheldon connection :)
10.25.11: Onesies {67/366}
My girls are so lucky to have such wonderful aunts! Sarah and Dawn bought these for Abigail. I have been stalking Target every week for long-sleeved onesies and every week I'm disappointed. It's October for goodness sakes, don't you know you're supposed to put out your Fall stuff in July?!
10.24.11: Sparkly shoes {66/366}
Aunt Sarah gave Bella's old shoes to Audrey...who won't freaking take them off!! She absolutely loves them...and can you blame her? I wish they came in my size! Just another reason I super love having a girl- all things pink and sparkly!
10.23.11: Nappy nap time {65/366}
I had taken an afternoon nap with Abigail. I woke up to eat dinner a couple hours later. Abigail continued to sleep. Christopher went to lay with her after we ate and he ended up falling asleep for nearly an hour! It was a busy weekend!
10.22.11: Pumpkin {64/366}
Audrey loved the pumpkin patch so much! I was amazed at all the new things she tried. She has also been SUPER affectionate lately. She'll come up and say "I love you so much!" for no reason at all :) The other night when Chris and I walked in the room together she looked at us and said, "Mom! Dad! You're my best friends!" She melts my heart!
10.19.11: "Doing" Science {61/366}
Today we observed different kinds of soil. I explained to my kids that when plants and animals decompose they enrich the soil. One of my girls looked completely shocked and asked, "Is THAT why we bury dead people?!" I am so lucky to spend my days with awesome little kids!

10.16.11: Bjorn {58/366}
At least its getting some use! I haven't been wearing Abigail but I'd like to start. I have a feeling she'll be out growing her infant car seat and she can't quite sit up on her own yet in a shopping cart.
10.15.11: Harvest Festival {57/366}
Chris took Audrey to a family reunion in WV. I stayed home to take care of the dogs (poor Zoe is diabetic and needs insulin shots plus she's practically blind.) I had Abigail all to myself and it was great. We had such a quiet, low-key day. We took a walk into town for the Harvest Festival. She stayed awake for the longest time until I finally reclined her. It was so nice to have one-on-one time with my sweet baby.
10.14.11: Waiting {56/366}
Audrey loves her dad so much. She lights up whenever he walks into the room. On Friday we met him for dinner at Panera. She was so adorable as she waited for him to pull up. Then she went over to the window to watch him walk up to the building. Then she ran to the door to greet him. Oh, and she was wearing a fairy costume :)
10.12.11: Livin on the Edge {54/366}
I don't know how it happened. It was a rainy day and I put off getting gas until after I had picked up the girls (I cannot wait to get to them at the end of the day!) Luckily the gas station is right down the street from Grandma's! (Chris is going to be so mad when he sees this!)

I like the idea of this photo blog, but it's so hard to keep up with! In the evenings I suddenly realize that I hadn't taken any pictures all day so I grab my camera and end up taking a picture of one of the girls. Lately it's been Abigail in her jumper. She just loves it so much!
10.10.11: Stokke Time! {52/366}
We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at Capital Ale House in Downtown Fredericksburg. We thought it would be nice to have dinner then walk through town for a bit and get ice cream. It was such a nice evening. We put Abigail in the Stokke for the very first time and she loved it :)

10.9.11: Compromise {51/366}
Since Abigail started using her jumper, Audrey naturally wants to push her and twist her around. So we've compromised by letting her put Amy (her baby) in the jumper and she can do as she pleases. It's so cute because she always makes sure that Amy's legs are pulled all the way through. Poor Amy gets twisted up super tight and unwinds like a figure skater. Although Audrey knows what she can and can't do with Abigail, I'm keeping my eye on her :)
10.6.11: Field Trip {48/366}
We took our first field trip of the year to the Rappahannock River. It was such a lovely day! We had a great time.
10.4.11: Smelling the flowers {46/366}
We stopped at Target to get Grandma flowers for her birthday and Audrey wanted to smell all the bouquets!

10.3.11: Jump! {45/366}
I'm not sure who likes the doorway jumper the best! Audrey gets so excited when Abigail is in it...she runs around and says, "Jump, Abby!" She laughs and jumps and tries to help her out by pulling on the straps. She wants to push her as if she's in a swing. Abigail seems to enjoy it more and more each day! I'm loving this stage :)
10.2.11: Playing together {44/366}
I love these early stages of playing. Audrey is doing her own thing. I plop Abigail down next to her and just wait for them to interact. Of course Abigail is watching Audrey the whole time. Eventually Audrey will stop what she's doing to acknowledge her. I love watching this! I can't wait to see them full-on play with each other :)

10.1.11: Like Father, Like Daughter {43/366}
The Hokie game had just started and Chris was laying on the couch. Audrey yells, "Get your feet down!" (She is very protective of Abigail's "playground" and she didn't like that Dad's feet were touching it, lol!) I told her that Dad likes to sit that way...to which she replied, "I want to sit that way, too!" So she did and I begged her to stay that way until I could grab the camera :)
9.30.11: Dad's Girl {42/366}
We had just come home from dinner at Roma's. Audrey was playing in her room and we were getting ready to get Abigail ready for bed. Chris would squeeze her and she'd squeeze back and smile! She loves her dad soooo much!
9.29.11: First Book {41/366}
I admit...I don't read to Abigail yet. I'm pretty sure we read to Audrey every night at a young age...but it's just not something I've made time for. In an effort to start, I pulled some of Audrey's soft books from her library and laid them on the floor for Abigail. She loved them! She held them, stared at them, grabbed for them, and wrestled around with them :) Yes, I must get better with reading to her!
9.28.11: Sad! No, happy! {40/366}
Abigail could be in full-on cry mode and all you have to do is give her a big cheesy smile. You get this very look :)
9.27.11: Fussy {39/366}
Now that she's rolling from back to belly, she gets all grumpy when she's on her tummy for too long. Silly girl.
