9.24.11: Dare to Dream {36/366}

My MIL has been wanting to take the girls to see Disney on Ice for forever! So when I saw that the princesses were coming to Richmond I had to get tickets! Unfortunately Grandma got sick and couldn't go :( The girls (cousins) got all dressed up and loved the show. We went to dinner afterwards and everyone thought they were so cute all dressed up. We all had a great time and can't wait to go again (with Grandma of course!)

9.23.11: Audrey's First Photo {35/366}

When we got home Audrey was talking to Abby and wanting to play with her. So I laid Abby on the table and we both started talking to her, tickling her, etc. I was taking pictures when all of a sudden Audrey said, "I take picture of you and Abby!" So I set up the camera on the table and told Audrey which button to push. She loved it!

I was at work when I got this picture via text from Grandpa. It gave me a huge smile and made staying late for BTS Night a little easier (and yet a little harder at the same time!)

Abigail is soooo happy in the mornings! And she's loving her exersaucer. She sits in that while I get Audrey up and ready to leave. I can't help but be happy, too, when I see this smiling face!

9.19.11: No more milk {31/366}

This makes my heart hurt a little bit. We used the last frozen bag of breast milk on Monday night. I was so disappointed because I had wanted Abigail on BM until 6 months. The original plan was to pump 6 months and give her the frozen stuff until it ran out- I just couldn't hang for that long. I feel bad, but on the flip side it is just way too hard to pump with our schedule and I'm actually kind of relieved to have my boobs back to normal (no engorgement- yay! No leaking- double yay!)

9.18.11: Yesssssss {30/366}

Reese's Pumpkins are here! It is officially Fall :) I love seasonal Reese's. It starts at Halloween and continues to December (trees!) and February (hearts!) Then it's a loooong wait til April (eggs!) It's definitely an addiction.

9.17.11: Ice Cream {29/366}

Christopher makes the best chocolate ice cream! It tastes like Breyer's Vanilla with Hershey's syrup mixed in. YUM!

I took a sick day so Christopher took the girls to Grandma's and picked them up. He's been wanting Papa John's for FOREVER but we don't have one near our house or his work. And I certainly can't carry out 2 pizzas and 2 girls. But apparently he can! He came home with yummy pizza...it was perfect!

9.15.11: Sister love {27/366}

Audrey seems so intimidated by Abigail and I think it's because she's so small (well, small compared to Audrey!) None of our friends have small babies so when Abby came along I think Audrey was not sure how to deal. So she never wanted to hold Abby, and you could tell she was hesitant to kiss or hug her. But as Abby gets bigger and bugger Audrey is getting more and more comfortable with her little sister. She willingly gives her hugs and kisses. She even wanted to hold her the other night (very briefly!) I'm looking forward to this relationship getting stronger and stronger by the day.

Audrey and I have great conversations in the car each day on the way home. We were talking when all of a sudden I ear, "Ow, Ow, ow!!" I look in the rearview mirror and sure enough, her little hand got stuck in the car seat loophole (I don't even know what those are for?!) I had to pull over to free it. She'll never do that again!

I know, I cheated and posted two pictures! Audrey has become very attentive lately. She loves covering the dogs with a blanket. She even brought Eddie some tea :)

9.10.11: It's Hokie Game Day! {22/366}

I bought Audrey her very first VT jersey today. She ran to Chris after I put it on her and said, "Go Hokies!" It's my plan for her to go to UMW, but VT is looking like a good second choice :)

9.9.11: Cheers to the freakin weekend! {22/366}

Ahhhh, Friday has its sparkle back! Chris came home, made the bed, mowed the lawn, cooked dinner, and made me a yummy drink because I was DONE. CHEERS!

9/4/11: "Are you mad, Momma?" {17/366}

I round the corner to see that Audrey had unrolled nearly an entire roll of paper towels. She immediately asks, "Are you mad, Momma? Are you angry, Momma?" HAHA! I think that was the first time she's ever really asked a question...she usually asks for things by telling us (i.e. "Juice, please. Want to get down, please!" etc.) No, sweetheart, Momma is not mad :)

9/3/11: Whoops! {16/366}

We had come home from shopping and usually we leave Abigail in her seat until we're all done putting things away. She waits very quietly the whole time. As I was unpacking, she was starting to get very vocal...when I went to see her, I saw her bow had covered her eyes! It was so funny and I'm surprised she wasn't upset!

9/2/11: I love my job {15/366}

I love my job for many reasons. Case in point...it's the middle of Open House and my room is full of new friends and their parents coming in and out. I'm running around trying to greet everyone and shake hands (trying desperately to remember names!) Then I see a sweet little face, one of my girls from last year. She came by to say hello and bring me a letter she had written me. I didn't get to read it until the next morning- I was still super stressed and I took a minute to open it, knowing it would cheer me up. Boy did it ever! Teaching is tough, but it is truly about the kids...one minute you want to pull your hair out and the next your spirits are lifted and you just know that you are where you're meant to be :)

9/1/11: Shoes! {14/366}

I haven't worn heels (pointed ones, no less) in FOREVER! But I love them. So I wore them for Open House and even though it was only for 2 hours my feet were killing me by the end. Maybe it's because I'm so used to my flip flops, or maybe I'm just getting old, but I won't be wearing them again anytime soon!

8/31/11: Football {13/366}

Scott's first game was on Wednesday and we all showed up to support him. He even got a sack on the QB! Go Scott, you are awesome!!!
